Absolutely loving it!

I discovered this course through one of Charly's tiktoks. Charly has such a creative and easy way of explaining things making it fun for everyone listening and watching him. Just like he says: the quality of a video and its audio contribute a lot to the viewers experience. I also like the simplicity of the platform neonacademy making it easy to navigate around the courses. So, big thumbs up! 🙂

Great course with some minor mistakes

Great course. Charly knows how to explain the subject well. Why only 4 stars? There are some (minor) mistakes: NTSC framerate=29,7 not 24. 24=film framerate. 3 point lighting: Practicals are not a part of those 3 points, a fill light is. Analogue film=mostly 36 (or 24 or 12) frames not 32. 16:9 vs 9:16=90deg not 180deg, etc... Tip: If too dark, increase light instead of ISO, if possible.

Great course to get the basics right! Unfortunately in German but I still highly recommend, the English subs are good!

Danke Charly!

I knew Charly already from TikTok and no surprise: the course has the same quality than his account! Really helpful to learn the basics of lightning and sound when filming
